Tonight we're having company for dinner. I'm not feeling very adventurous today so I'm making a roast.
When I was in the kitchen this morning browning the roast, Owen heard all the spitting and sputtering coming from the meat in the hot pan.
He came in and asked, "What are you doing Mom?"
I replied "I'm making dinner. I'm browning the outside right now then I'm going to put it in the crock pot and let it cook all day."
"Not all day!" Owen cried, "Then it will be burned!"
Seriously kid, you crack me up.
