This is the outfit he wanted to wear:
"Mwah, nnnyes, you may call me 'Maaaaster Jeremy'. . ." It's possible that he was told directly by his department head that he was under no circumstances to actually follow through with that idea.
Still, it would've been funny though. . .

That would have been funny to see him dressed like that teaching a class. He could at least have worn the robes.
